About Blue Lion Homebase

Blue Lion Homebase is a licensed home-based early childhood education service based in Māngere Bridge, Auckland. We provide nurturing, small-group childcare for up to four children at a time, welcoming little ones from birth to age five into a warm, home-away-from-home environment where every child is known, valued, and cared for like one of our own.

Home-based ECE offers something larger centres simply can't: genuine, unhurried relationships. With a maximum of four children, days follow a gentle rhythm of play, shared meals, stories, and outdoor exploration — shaped around each child's routine rather than a rigid schedule. There's room for gumboots in the garden, slow mornings, and the kind of one-to-one attention that helps young children feel secure enough to explore, learn, and grow.
